Check Change Report Overview

In addition to a true/false result indicating successful conversion, DeltaNova Check outputs an HTML change report that can be viewed in any browser.

Report When No Changes Found

If the conversion did not lose any content, Check reports a successful conversion with a summary showing:

Conversion check successful! Our advanced comparison algorithm did not detect any content changes between the two input files. This means that you haven't lost any content in the conversion process.

Report When Changes Found

When changes are detected, the report shows a detailed summary.

Change Report Sections

The report has three main sections. All parts use a common colour scheme:

🔴 Red	Deletion
🟢 Green	Addition

Table of Changes

Below the charts is a detailed table. For each change, the table shows:

Type of Change	Insertion, deletion, or modification
XPath (Input B)	XPath location of the change within the B input XML
Input A Value	The original content
Input B Value	The converted content (or "No B content" for deletions)
Change Snippet	DeltaV2 format context showing the parent element

Example: Single Deletion

If the conversion fails to include a heading "System Description":

Reading the Change Report

Deletion: Content in the original (A input) that is missing from the converted (B input).
Addition: Content in the converted (B input) that was not in the original (A input) — this may indicate spurious content was introduced.
Modification: Content that changed between the original and converted formats.
