Microsoft PowerPoint Comparisons
To invoke a comparison, you POST parameters to the specified Powerpoint Comparison pipelines, in either JSON or XML form.
Comparison Example
Here is a simple synchronous example (asynchronous comparison is detailed in more detail on this page):
Request (XML)
<compare>
<inputA type="file">
<path>samples/compare/powerpoint/inputA.pptx</path>
</inputA>
<inputB type="file">
<path>samples/compare/powerpoint/inputB.pptx</path>
</inputB>
<configuration type="file">
<path>samples/compare/powerpoint/sample-configuration.xml</path>
</configuration>
</compare>
Request (JSON)
{
"inputA": {
"type": "file",
"path": "samples/compare/powerpoint/inputA.pptx"
},
"inputB": {
"type": "file",
"path": "samples/compare/powerpoint/inputB.pptx"
},
"configuration": {
"type": "file",
"path": "samples/compare/msword/sample-configuration.xml"
}
}
The response below indicates the comparison result, in this case a zip file containing a Powerpoint .pptx file describing the changes between the inputs specified in the request using the native comment, alongside a HTML summary report.
Response
The response is a zip file that can be downloaded and unzipped to access the .pptx and HTML files. The response makes use of the MediaType application/zip.
Comparison Model
When specifying a comparison, these are the various available objects:

Input B to the comparison. See this page for the various I/O types available. |
|
|

In addition to requests in structured XML or JSON format, multipart/form-data can also be used.
